Default Outside tempature gauge, electronic, Volvo 740

Picked up this gauge the other day, first one I have seen here in Canada.
Number on gauge is 1324944, but since there is no box for it, not sure if the kit is 1343736, Volvo 740, or maybe it is the 240 kit.
I will try to put it on my 93 940, but not sure where to mount it.
Once you have a outside gauge like on my 850 winter car, I miss not having one!

That does look like the 740/760 kit for pre-1991(pre-1988 for 760) cars. If I remember correctly, the cars with the facelift 760 and 1991-on 740 style dash have a flat ambient temp gauge that mounts in the lower corner...

That’s correct. And a 1993 940 should be pre wired for that slim lcd display.

Trouble is the LCD display often fails, like the one on my 960, black spots appear and makes it difficult to read.

Send a message to info@swedishiron.com . We have spare non-broken LCD 940 / 960 ambient temperature gauges (the slim one in the lower left section of the instrument cluster).

I ship small packages/purchases on Fridays, and larger ticket items via FedEx in the middle of the week.

240 centric items:

IMG-1746

"Caution: This intercooler kit contains 30 more horsepower… open carefully"
IMG-1747

IMG-1748

IMG-1745

Not sure if these are rare... window vent visors (metal/two door)
IMG-1753

Not really image worthy:
3.31:1 rear end and LH2.4 flywheel (from a ’92 ABS car)
’79 GT sway bars (21mm/23mm)
Older style 240 snow-cap
1984 242ti (factory intercooled/tourist and diplomat sales)
240 floor pan (from the dealer)
B23FT short block
400k, 500k, 600k high mileage badges

R-Sport Speedo, NOS, was damaged during shipping way back when, which is why it was never installed.

Found this in For Sale, never saw one before so I had to have it. The mounting plate for will probably have to be made. Thanks to hiperforauto for the last pic showing it mounted in the spare tire.

Default Early 240 leather seats 75-77

Picked these up the other day, don't see many of these in any condition these days.
Used on 75 164, and 75-77 240, 260 cars

I recently acquired not one but 2 NOS 240 turbo grille emblems. If you look closely you'll see that they have slightly different fonts. The early one, part number 1304951 (in the bag) has thicker letters than the one that replaced it, part number 1312369.
