He was quoting uberbrick's post, containing pictures of the BBS split-rims.

This was the early badge, pulled one in the junkyard years ago... Then the enameled one came out after, had many of later badges... Having had six volvos a year...!!!

I stand corrected. I remember back in the eighties when I first applied for a badge I was sent that silver color one. I was hoping to get the round blue one with the red 100k center. I wrote to VCNA and happily received the one I wanted.

You used to be able to call them. Give them your car information and have the appropriate badge mailed to you. It was an 800 number so the call was free. I haven't heard of people getting badge for years now.

I did that for my 300K 740T, they sent me 100k and 200k badges, they said I should call back later for the 300k badge. I never got it, and had to score one on my own.

That's awesome. I was unaware of how much Volvo branded stuff there way back in the day until looking through some catalogs a while back. If only they had some houndstooth brown blankets to match my seat skins

Like James said it starts with the catalog. Once I know it exists I know I can find it.

Get yourself signed up for tradera. Iím amazed at some of the stuff that comes up for sale. Many sellers are willing to ship to the USA and the exchange rate from usd to sek is not bad at all. Iíve snagged some stuff that even after shipping costs is better priced that anything I can find here in the USA...

The buyer flaked and the seller relisted this wheel. It ended up selling for a little over $900.

I also have an early square 100,000 mile club badge. It sits on top of my computer along with the more common style 100,000 mile club badge.

This NOS B18/B20 Competition Service header walked into my shop today. It's the later style with individual center tubes instead of the siamesed single center tube although they have the same part number.

Got some stuff for my 240

"Rally" gauge pod
Extra sunvisor(the one that mounts on the inside mirror)
The sunblind on the rear window

Maybe not so rare but
Leather shift boot
242GT steeringwheel
All the 52mm gauges
Rear shelf speakers( the big ones )

And a question for the guys who also has the "rally" gauge pod, how much did it cost you and when did you buy it? There are some wild prices now

To match the early switches in your 244's dash, use a pre-'80 power window switch. Like the one shown here:

Still need to paint the cover black to match the headliner, but at least did fix the lack of a rear lip for it. Still firmly attached.
