Nice! I have some extra bushings and seals for those transmissions if you want them. I won't ever use them and they aren't worth selling.

Does anyone recognize this car? My neighbor traded his truck for it a few months ago. Quick little thing

When a dump valve is vented to the atmosphere like that, would that indicate that the LH is gone and we have something more modern like MS? I wish I could do that. I like the sound.

You can on an automatic transmission, it's not ideal but it doesn't stall. And I have a NIB huge Apexi blowoff valve to help you achieve that goal haha.

Wish there were more locals here to do meets like that.

We're fairly certain the car is a chipped LH2.2 setup. I'll try to get some footage, but the car is pretty rowdy

We are lucky in this neighborhood for sure. All of these Volvos live within a few block of each other

After doing waaaay more drinking than wrenching, we discovered that the engine from lunchb0x's 940 is a squirter block. He's going to stow it away for a bit and collect some parts for a build

Another cool weekend in the books lunchb0x and I met up with some bay area locals to buy a camshaft. Good people for sure

Stopped by the Newark,CA Pick N Pull on the way

New alternators don't come with a pulley OR the key for the keyway so Vince the 244 picked up a few bits today

Also...parent's cat on their V50 T5 AWD. Weird flex, but okay

You know it

Delivered some window switches to DALAHASTEN in Sacramento. Another rad local Volvo guy Gave him a spare grill for his 90 740, and he was nice enough to hook me up with a snowcap for my 740 wagon!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, I finally turned a wrench on the 242!

Fuel pump upgrade is step one of many.

Met up with our neighbors yesterday. Had a cool 54 Chevy truck stop by

Couple of locals working on different jobs. The garage pic is an engine tear down/rebuild in progress. Second is Baraba the wagon undergoing body work and maintenance.

Back at the 242 w/ lunchb0x

Yikes! The fuel pump assembly is gross. Thankfully we have a spare Will inspect the tank and see where to go from there.

Yuck, I had my tank cleaned at a radiator repair shop. They gave it a total cleaning and coated the inside for $100, it looks great. I painted the outside with 1 can of primer and 2 cans of paint to make it thick.
