Default Public service anouncement: Replace your old, crappy coolant reservior cap

With the hot weather here I've been seeing higher coolant temps and even having some overflow coming out of the reservoir on my 91 240. Noticed when it was hot the radiator hoses were soft, no real pressure in them. Sure enough, the old pressure cap just wasn't doing it anymore. Replaced it with a gates brand 31329 for $7, problem solved.

TLDR: 30y old coolant cap? Consider replacing, cheap maintenance.

It's nice when it's a simple plastic part. Happy rolling!
