Is 531 head for spicy NA motor worth it?

How much do you guys think a 531 head is worth in US, and is it worth fitting to a spicy semi-daily driver normally aspirated B230?

Or would a ported 530 be OK.

I?d like to have about 150-175 WHP, will be running ITBs, V cam, Speeduino ECU with coil pack.

That's an attainable power goal with either a 530 head or a 531. The 531 is really suited for very high lift and high rpm motors.
If you have a 531 right now, it will require less porting work to make that power. But spending $300-600 on porting for the 530 would net you similar results without the headache of finding and repairing a 531 head.

You will more than likely want a much bigger cam than a V for your power goals, and you'll need lots of compression. klr142 used something that was ~12.5mm lift and ~300deg to get ~155whp with ~12:1 CR if I remember correctly. A KL Racing T5 with 45mm DCOEs and a lot of compression will net you about 190-200hp. These are all known power figures with stock sized valves.

He did 168 hp with a regroumd k cam. Injured k cam at that. Iirc

That reground cam was like 13.5mm lift, so I think the 155hp cam was probably 12.5mm lift?
I think Kyle is singlehandedly responsible for how rare K-cams are now, he's reground so many of them

Edit: This was bugging me, so I went and found the info.
155whp was a Enem k13 12.5/280 (at what lift?), and 11:1 CR. Basically a stock 531 with opened up chambers.

~170whp was the reground k cam (12.5 lift, 259@.050") and 12.4:1 CR. Head was a slightly worked over 531, with a slightly different chamber shape.
Then the Agap cam went in, and it hasn't been on the dyno to tune/validate.
