holy 9 year bump.

So for like a year and a half I was driving a 2006 Tundra. It was a great truck and was in awesome shape. It had 80k miles and was essentially perfect. The biggest drawback was my son and his car seat didn't fit in the back seat at all. I'm a big dude and he 100% got my genes. That also meant I bashed his huge head in the door jamb every time I took him out of his seat.

It took me a while to devise a plan.. I kept posting feelers on FB about selling my truck. It was like 50% serious, 50% joking......until Dustin (SquareD) came from STL to buy it. That meant I had to find a car. I know Kyle has a ton of projects and cars sitting around the house. This S70 was like the 3rd Volvo I had ever ridden in and I always loved it. Before I knew it, I was driving to Kyles house with a stack of cash to trade him for his car.

and here we are.

So, It is in the same setup that Kyle had it. It had served as a DD for a while and it shows. The clear coat is gone on the upward facing surfaces, but other than that, this car is perfect. I don't really have any huge plans for this. It is my DD for the next bit until I get into a position at work were I get a company truck. Kyle busted ass getting it ready for me and fixed a ton of stuff, but we both agreed that there were some things we left for me to do. I will be catching up on that and will be cleaning it to try to get it back to perfect. I may update this thread here and there...i may start a thread..i may just crush it like everything else. I just know people know Kyle's old car and wanted to give a major update.

That said, for the time being, I love this car so far and my son seems to like it (or maybe he just loves everything lol).

Couldn't have went to a better home. It deserved better than to let it languish in my driveway for more years, I'm glad you have the opportunity to enjoy it.
