Default Volvo 740 bigger wheels, help needed.

Hi guys,

want to put some nice wheels on my 740.
the idea is that i want around 17 inch' with many spokes.

Now i dont now what measure wheels fits good to the 740.
original wheels is:
5x108
65.1mm wheelhub.
Offset: 25
195/60/15

what kind of offset do i need? 25 offset is very low in my country. most wheels are around 35. can i get more offset and compromise it with wider wheels? hope yall understand my amateur english XD

Just want some nice looking wheels, without spacer crap or other adjustmends.
wonder how these fit with offset 38: https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/auto-on...Mzc2MDYwNjcuMA..

Greets.

ET38 will rub on the front struts. Bigger ET means the wheel goes inwards. You need spacers or wheels with same or smaller ET as original.

The only 17" wheel that came originally on 7/9 was the Polaris wheel and that was 17x7. Don't know what ET it had, but I'm assuming 20.

As Lankku said, you will need a spacer to get the ET near 20 if they are the same width.

Not sure what width those Alfa wheels are, but I'm assuming a 20mm spacer will do the job.

Take care of the center bore, 7/9 have 65,1mm.

Bust out the tape measure, and go to town:

Those front wheel drive volvo 17 inch Tethy's with lots of spokes fit well on 740 with 25mm spacer on front and 32 on rear I think it was. I will look for a pic.

with 38+ offset, you would need a 20-25mm adapter to run them on a 740.
