Default My ´97 940 Turbo M90 IRS aka Fart Express

So this is my 940 I bought it in 2014 with 385t km (now 501t km) from Netherlands. Started as a casual 940 with b230fk + m90.

stock unopened b230fk
Vialle LPi
3" downpipe + 2,5" Simons catback
16t + Kinugawa wg actuator and dual stage boost control
Buchka wasted spark ignition
intake manifold spacers
do88 intercooler
3" maf
440cc injectors
BTI chips

Transmission:
M90 (with welded stop ring)
dogdish flywheel
Sachs -763 pp + diesel clutch disc resurfaced with Frenos HDS57 material

Suspension:
Bilstein HD all around
front Lesjofors lowering springs, rear Eibach 1300-500-0250
front dual swaybars
3.31 1041 rear axle
rear multilink mk1 irs with 3.31 G80
PU bushings here and there
25mm wheel spacers with variety of et43 wheels
strut brace
960 subframe braces
adjustable panhard rod
302mm front brakes

Interior:
960II seats and pillar trims and some other 960 goodies
Reveltronics UTCOMP board computer (AFR, EGT, coolant and oil temp, oil pressure, MAP etc...)

Nice strut brace, who sells those? That boost setup looks pretty complicated, are you using both electronic and mechanical control?

Thanks, the strut brace is made by me
The boost control is pretty simple - one mbc for low boost and one for high boost and using the tcv as 2-way valve, I can switch between them.

Nice, neat fabrication job! The tcv setup is pretty smart, I might have to copy that at some point

Everything done, the rear, with Eibach 13" 250lb/in springs, is about 1.3" higher than front, but I think I´ll live with it for now.

Thanks These bushings are from volvofan.eu or you can get set for whole axle from poliprodest.com

Nice touch on the rear trunk with the single volvo letters.

Dave,
1982 242 turbo. 338k miles. MVP coilovers and 3" exhaust. Flowed 405 with a V15. Cossie turbine housing with upgraded compressor housing. 90+, IPD remote oil filter. Some other goodness, too. Been lots of fun over 25 years. Restored in 2k. Now ready for a 2nd restoration.

1993 245 Classic, 435k miles, enem V15. IPD bars and chassis braces. Simons sport exhaust from Scandix. sbabbs ezk chip. Been a good road warrior. Genuine Volvo rebuilt leaky M47.
