Default IPD 139511 - High Flow Stainless Steel Sport Exhaust Kit

So...it's almost July.
Has nobody bought and installed one of these yet?
I'm on the internet, and I demand extra information, such as a sound clip, of any sale-priced item I might consider purchasing. Right?

One of my rear mufflers on hand is a bit quieter than I'd like, and the other is too loud. I'd like my too medium option to be identified. Any impressions of this piece from someone who's had one in hand or installed would be most welcome.

I think this is basically a SS copy of stock Turbo cat-back system. I ran set up like this with no cat, K-jet and K-cam. Liked it- sounded good in the wagon.

I'm about to order one, minus the adapter pipe, to use on my 245Ti as a replacement for a somewhat tweaked Midacrap system.

As PCH says, it's the same as the stock turbo setup, but in SS instead of aluminized steel.

I appreciate the helpful responses, based on the theoretical, but I was fishing for an actual experience.
The stainless system uses a visibly different muffler. One can make the general argument that one 57mm resonator-delete-with-single-lateral-rear-muffler system sounds basically like any other with the same design parameters. Point taken. On the other hand, there are many people who can identify small sound differences in systems, say which model 2.5" flomasters are hanging under a fox body Mustang. In that vein, I doubt that IPD contracted Starla to produce the exact same parts with a substitute of alloy material, or indeed that Starla would even manage to do that and meet IPD's cost requirements to sell this to rwd Volvo owners. The photos do show a hanger style difference in the mufflers, and it's not hard to imagine that there are other design differences, if only for the sake of cost. Perhaps there's a bit of sound difference detectable here as well.
I'm using the Starla parts now that IPD sells as the non-stainless hi-flow N/A system, and occasionally I swap on a noisy stainless rear bullet muffler. I'm looking for a bit more character without being too much for a polite DD. For a stainless system to come in at this price, the IPD muffler may be fairly thin-walled, and you've gotta like a part that fits on stock hangers and carries a part number at a marque specialist...

What was the verdict on this? My exhaust is rusting out now and I'm sick of replacing it, so I'm considering going the stainless route.

I have one of these. It's delightfully adequate. Agreed with the prior posts that it seems to be a stainless copy of the stock turbo exhaust.

It sounds slightly better than the stock NA exhaust it replaced in my 244, but that was rusty and full of holes so the bar was pretty low.

What brand are your current mufflers? We aren’t the three bears but we can recommend one that is just right.

Currently I have a stock NA exhaust, and the front pipe on the resonator just rusted off yesterday so it's quite loud at the moment. I live in Buffalo so things just don't seem to hold up well at all to the salt before they rust out. This is in an 85 245 NA that's my daily driver, so not looking for any real performance, just wanted something a little nicer.
