242 2.3L Ecoboost 6spd Swap **Picture Heavy**

I'm building it in Washington, PA, but I live in the Dormont/Brookline area.

I say I'm in Pittsburgh. Really, I'm like an hour NW of the city. About as close to the actual city as I might get with any regularity would be if I end up taking a job in Cranberry. I sometimes also go to Forest Hills to visit some of my wife's family. So while it seems unlikely, I'm going to press on with the positive feeling that there's still a chance.

I have family in the Cranberry area. Hopefully we can link up this summer.

Time for a quick update...

Added 3M paint protection film (shiny part) to certain sections of the cage to to save the paint from entry and exit wear.

Washed junkyard carpet and sprayed and brushed in between coats of SEM color coat in Landau Black. It's even darker in person.

Decided to get a grounding block to organize the grounds and not stack them all under 2 screws. The bottom lug was connected with 8GA to ground. This will be the ground for most things on the dash. Using a separate ground for the stereo and instrument cluster. Any issue with that??

Even re-taped the accessory connectors

Regarding the quality of your grounds...... simply measure resistance from those junction points back to the battery NEG terminal. If you've got marginal grounds, you will see it on your Ohmmeter.

Ok, makes sense. I'll verify and update.

All good! Thanks

So work/non-car life has been kicking my butt lately, but progress has been made.

I'm putting some things back together

Doubled up some black speaker felt to cover where the old reels went.

Looks like it'll do

GPS antenna for the RaceCapture/digital dash integration. It comes with one, but it sits on your dash or magnetized to the top of the car. Seeing as though this will be an important system, I decided for something permanent and nice.

The wire from which will run down the roof and to the dash behind the filler panel to the RaceCapture module.

Getting dangerously close to the final design of the touchscreen panel. That'll be the next big update. Looking like I may be good for inspection and tuning by mid May.

I also mounted the entire case to the screen.

I made a quick and dirty surround for some earlier testing, but I ended up scrapping that
