Contradicting MS documentation - msextra VS useasydocs - which one should I use?

Hello fellow TBs!!

I see two main sources for MicroSquirt V3 documentation, and they are not always in agreement with each other.

For an example - the "Core wiring diagram":

Shows different connection style for the O2 sensor.

Which source should I stick to with regards to MicroSquirt V3?

If you are going to use Extra firmware you should use the Extra manuals.
The Extra manuals will be the most up to date and methods recommended should be used for best results.
Some of the triggering methods have changed, but for the better.
MegaManual has not kept up with the times. Much has been learned

I see. Is Extra firmware is pre-loaded to MicroSquirt V3 by default?

The O2 sensor wiring in both links is correct. The O2 sensor signal enters on pin MS pin 34. The MSExtra diagram makes provision for connection of an isolated O2 sensor signal ground back to pin 20. Not all narrowband sensors or wideband controllers have a separate signal ground.
