Found this on Sun. 6/23 on Reddit of all places, and right here in Atlanta. I definitely don't need another project right now, but i have three teenagers and should be building the fleet.

Astrid had been sitting for 14 months and the college student selling her thought it was an electrical problem. They had jumped it several times to start it when it was sitting, but now they couldnt get it started. Astrid had lots of mold growing on her, spiders throughout, and possibly some mice or chipmucks sharing a home in the wheel well.

Ive always wanted one of the Classic editions, but i was hoping to find a green one. But Astrid is an incredible find as she's a wagon and i got her for only $600!!!

My thought is even if the engine's toast, ill have a Classic in the family fleet.
I'll do a post tomorrow highlighting the problems. But you can see that a bath already made her look like a new girl.

Congrats... but I think this one also has been hit on the driver's side, doors and rear quarter (at least) replaced. Really bad gaps and mismatched paint.

Not the end of the world but some investigation and tweaking may be in order.

I definitively think the driverside corner panel was replaced.

Well done. Looks good. Mine was hit in the left front and the left rear. Front had the fender replaced. The rear they body worked it. But now it's one of the major rust areas. My #1205 has the body rusted under the left rear light.
