740 Speedometer harness connector inside trunk

According to the diagram there is a "D" connector which is somewhere inside the trunk. Does anyone know where the SOB is?

Also, what is the resistance of the sending unit?
 
Which model car/Volvo? On the 7-9 series it is inside a black plastic box that is sealed. I think the 240 is the same way. I can't remember for sure with the 240. On all US market cars the connection is right behind the driver's side rear wheel house.
