Default new wheels on 945.

Did a test fit of my new wheels today. There are Penta UK copies of AMG Penta wheels, similar to Ronal R9's .

They need refurbing. Which would be better painting or powder coating regarding durability?
I am thinking of getting the rims polished with the main wheel anthracite/graphite or silver with black inserts?

Nice wheels, get some shorter tires on those things though!

Looks good! Tire size is fine, just need to close the gap. As for the color anthricite would be perfect match for your nine.

How did you attach them? Hubs redrilled, adapters? I've got real Pentas, and I'm not sure what I'll do with them yet....

What size are yours? Mine are the 16x9F, 16x10R, 5x112 bolt pattern.

Default dish!

Much deeper dish on yours! Mine are standard bolt pattern (5 x 108) 15'' x 7J with 205 tyres so they bolted straight on without spacers once I removed the guide pins which just screw in. I think AMG pentas are 5 x 114 for Mercs? Penta UK did sort of unlicenced copies due to high demand of the genuine expensive AMG ones. I think Ronal R9's were licenced copies. Anything written on yours? I saw a pic of someone else with Ronals on their Volvo with deeper dish wheels on the rear but I can't find the write up. Mine are flat across the spokes where I think I've seen some that appear to have concave spokes.
Carl.

Mine are original AMG Pentas. AMG and part numbers are stamped on the face As I understand, only the originals had the retarded rear lip, which is why I love them. They also have the concave spokes, but I don't have any pics really demonstrating it.

In this pic, you can kinda see it:

What you've said about the copies is what I understand as well. The original AMG wheels were 16x8, ET11, I think, and 15x7, not sure on offset.
