Hello, I have a 1984 245 with a very squishy steering wheel. As in the steering wheel itself is very soft. I was just wondering if this is normal, cause i’ve never felt anything like this. Thanks

Hey there and welcome to the board. Some 240s had a squishy wheel.
Does it feel like the foam is separating away from the wheel structure?

Mine both felt kind of squishy, I got a cover from wheelskins that you sew on so it stays tight, made the wheel firmer and gave it a little more thickness.
